Short version: your files never leave your device. PixKB uses Google Analytics to count page visits, and Google advertising may set cookies. Both are explained below.
Your files
Every PixKB tool processes files inside your own browser, using your browser's built-in image and PDF capabilities plus open-source code that we serve from our own domain. Your images, PDFs and documents are never uploaded, transmitted, stored or seen by us or anyone else. We have no server that could receive them.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used and whether they work. It records page views, approximate country, device and browser type, plus five tool events: a tool was opened, started, completed, hit an error, or was saved for offline use. With those events we send only the tool's page name, the mode used (for example "Exact KB") and a coarse size range such as "100 KB–1 MB".
We never send file names, file contents, exact file sizes, image dimensions or photo metadata (EXIF). That rough size range is the only thing sent that relates to your files. Google Signals is turned off. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visits apart. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; every tool keeps working.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
PixKB is free and intends to be funded by Google AdSense ads; no ads run yet. When ads run, Google, as a third-party vendor, will use cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage start in a "denied" state (Google Consent Mode). In those regions we do not yet show a consent message, so no analytics or advertising cookies are set there at all; only cookieless, aggregated measurement is used. If we add a consent message later, cookies will be set only for visitors who agree, and this policy will be updated first.
Hosting (Cloudflare)
PixKB is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Your files are never part of these requests, because they never leave your browser.
Storage on your device
The site stores a few things in your own browser: an offline copy of pages and tool code (so tools work without internet), and small flags such as "install banner dismissed". None of this is sent to us.
Children
PixKB is a general-audience utility. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. PixKB has no accounts or forms; the only data processed about any visitor is what the analytics, advertising and hosting sections above describe.
